25 Texans in the Land of Lincoln
Twenty-five history students drive 2,000 miles from the Alamo in Texas
to a Springfield, Illinois museum on a mission to repatriate General
Santa Anna's prosthetic leg and honor Abe Lincoln's support of Mexico.
Every now and again I take on a film just because I enjoy working with the director. When Ellen showed me the first round of shooting with the students I was skeptical whether there was a film. But with the additional shooting, charming animations, and lively music, we were able to craft an entertaining and informative film about a little understood period of American history.
